Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de un Bróker Asociativo para la exportación de la fruta exótica denominada "Pitahaya", a Singapur, con sede en la ciudad de Quito

The export of pitahaya fruit through the formation of an associative broker, constituted by the producers of the fruit in Palora as shareholders of their own product, is the main objective of this project. As being considered as an exotic fruit, is really desired so much in local and international markets, because his pulp is such a source of many properties and vitamins. Singapore is a very important import of many agricultural products, there economy are based in the exportation of skilled and technological services. Agriculture practically does not exist in this country; the needs of their population are covered by import different type of foods from all around the world. The pitahaya fruit by having diuretic properties enjoys of a huge acceptance in a society that bases their nutrition on sea products. The importation of pitahaya fruit in Singapore between 2009 and 2013 surrounds 24.400 to 28.500 tons a year, which represents a big opportunity to the countries that cultivate the fruit, between them Ecuador that in his effort to diversify his offer to the world in the non traditional products seems in it a commercial opportunity. In Palora the output rate (yield) by hectare of the fruit is 1.000 kilograms a sufficient volume to start exportation activities. His target market will aim to the companies, commercial agents, and specialized representatives in the commercialization of the non traditional products in the Singapore market. The project also includes a detailed technical study of the variables to be put in concern, a description to the process of exportation and international commercialization, a legal analysis requests of the infrastructure to the formation of an associative broker, and finally prove if the feasibility study is possible based on their own results.La exportación de la pitahaya a través de la conformación de un Bróker Asociativo, constituido por los productores de la fruta en Palora como accionistas del mismo, es el objetivo principal de este proyecto. Al ser considerada como una fruta exótica, es apetecida tanto en el mercado interno como en el internacional, ya que su pulpa es fuente de propiedades alimenticias y de vitaminas. Singapur es un importador de toda clase de productos agrícolas; su economía se basa en la exportación de servicios especializados y tecnológicos. La agricultura prácticamente no existe: las necesidades de alimentación de su población son cubiertas con las importaciones de alimentos de todos los lugares del mundo. La pitahaya, al tener propiedades diuréticas, goza de una gran aceptación en una sociedad que basa su nutrición en productos del mar. Las importaciones de pitahaya en Singapur en el periodo 2009 al 2013, se encuentra entre las 24.400 a 28.500 toneladas por año, lo que representa una gran oportunidad para los países productores de la fruta, entre ellos Ecuador; que en su afán de diversificar su oferta exportable hacia el mundo, ve en los productos no tradicionales, una nueva oportunidad comercial. En el cantón Palora, el rendimiento por hectárea cultivada de la fruta es de 1.000 kilogramos; volumen suficiente para iniciar las actividades de exportación. Su mercado objetivo se dirigirá a compañías, agentes comerciales o representantes especializadas en la comercialización de esta clase de productos no tradicionales, dentro del mercado de Singapur. El proyecto incluye también un estudio técnico detallado de las variables a ser tomadas en cuenta, una descripción del proceso de exportación y comercialización internacional, análisis de los requerimientos legales, de infraestructura para una conformación exitosa del Bróker asociativo y comprobar que este estudio de factibilidad es posible, basado en los resultados de la rentabilidad del mismo
